The Deep Dark Woods and Kacy & Clayton start their extensive European tour this week

Two of the most beloved bands out of the province of Saskatchewan, Canada joined forces and are touring Europe starting this month. We're talking about The Deep Dark Woods and Kacy & Clayton. 

The Deep Dark Woods: one of the most unique aspects of the Canadian folk music scene is just how diverse this genre has proven to be. From the mainstream to the obscure there really is something across this spectrum to appeal to most listeners’ musical tastes. In the final quarter of 2017, the band returned with their first new material in almost five years. With the publicized personnel changes and differences across their twelve year career, original members Ryan Boldt and Geoff Hilhorst have once again reunited to create the all-new offering Yarrow.

Kacy & Clayton are more confident than ever so they prove on their third album The Siren's Song. On this release developed out of Kacy Anderson and Clayton Linthicum's touring as a four-piece band alongside a drummer and a bassist, which alleviated some of the restrictions that come with being a quiet duo. Linthicum turned up his electric guitar while Anderson, not as concerned with venue set-up or a noisy crowd, felt more liberated. The pair started to have more fun, and it shows.
