Boogie Beasts launch new single; first Spanish tours hits off in less than 10 days
15-02-2024Cold Ways is one of the last songs that Boogie Beasts wrote for their forthcoming album Neon Skies & Different Highs (due out April 19th). It contains many influences, ranging from Tuareg music and desert blues to contemporary bands such as Queens of the Stone Age and The Black Keys. There is even an early eighties atmosphere in this track:
Neon Skies & Different Highs, the new Boogie Beasts album is the fourth studio album and fifth in total. And - in their own words - their most eclectic yet. Once again the foursome starts from a deep-rooted love for raw blues, but this time they are also inspired by gospel, soul, desert blues & rock, rhythm & blues, psychedelia and even a touch of hip hop.
In addition, the group assigned a greater role for this album to producer Koenraad Foesters, who almost functions as the fifth band member. The result is a very groovy record full of passion and emotion, characterized by a distinctly contemporary sound.
With their infectious energy, these four gentlemen always create a dirty and irresistible sound. Starting in 10 days Boogie Beasts will tour through Spain for the first time:
